Right to cancel

We do our best to match you with a lending solution that meets your requirements. We also give you a short time after you have received the contract to cancel if you change your mind.

You are entitled to cancel the consumer contract by giving notice to us.

Cancellation time limits

You must give notice that you intend to cancel the contract within 5 working days of the statement date on the front of the disclosure statement if you receive the disclosure statement in person on the statement date on the front of the documents or you must give notice that you intend to cancel the contract within 9 working days of the date that the disclosure statement is posted or emailed to you the borrower.

Saturdays, Sundays, and national public holidays are not counted as working days.

How to cancel

To cancel, you must give us a written notice that you intend to cancel the contract.

This can be either by email or by posting or by arrangement we can receive this notice in person.

You must also, within the same time, return to us the creditor, any advance and other property received by you under the contract.

Cancellation costs

  • Interest for the period from the day you received the advance until the day that you repay the advance.
  • The amount of any reasonable expenses we had to pay in connection with the contract and its cancelation.

These may include fees that were incurred and that are not able to be reversed such as credit and affordability inquiries, inspection fees/costs, registration costs, referral costs etc.
